Vacation Day Five 6/25 Disneyland

I don't think there is anything better than leaving one vacation and going on another!! For our honeymoon we went on a cruise in the Bahamas and then got off the ship and headed to Disney World and that was amazing so this felt very similar.  We were all excited to go to Disneyland.  Before we got off the ship we had completed the task the cruise director asked and got a selfie with her.  We showed it to her as we were leaving the ship and she gave us trophies!
We were so happy to see our car and headed for Anaheim.  We debated getting a 3 day or a 4 day to Disneyland and decided might as well do 4 days! We drove to our hotel which was great! We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites right across the street.  It was the perfect location and we had a Panera and McDonald's which was awesome.  Once we parked the car we headed straight to the park!
It was a lot of fun seeing Disneyland and comparing it to Disney World since we were just there.  It was fun going on the rides that Disney world didn't have like the kids favorite railroad roller coaster.
It really feels like were just four friends hanging out.  Having our kids grow up is sad but also so much fun!! We ran to all our favorite rides and surprisingly didn't have to wait that long.

For lunch we had our favorite Monte Cristo sandwich.
After lunch and a couple more rides we went back to the hotel for a swim and to get warm clothes for the evening.  When we got back into the park we ran into the kids 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Haar!! That was really fun!  We had know idea she was going to be there the same week as us!
 We rode lots more rides...

and stayed late to watch the fireworks and ride rides in the dark!

So much fun being in Disneyland with my favorite people!!

Vacation Day Four 6/24 Ensenada Mexico

Day Four we made it to Mexico!!
The day started with a nice big breakfast.  You can kind of see the Mexican flag behind the kids in this picture.
Then it was time to venture off of the ship.  They had all the people taking pictures of us and wouldn't let me take a picture but I did sneak this one...

Our day in Mexico ended up being not what we had planned.  I was so excited to find this really fun zip lining place that was about 30 minutes from the port.  I was ready to get a cab or Uber but Spencer was stressing out and did not feel comfortable with that.  I was having deja vu of our last Mexico experience when he was freaking out about it not being safe.  I get it Mexico is not the safest place but it is an adventure and from all the reviews I read everyone takes a cab and it is fine! Well when we got off the ship there where buses waiting and a guide told us that they had a package deal to the zip lining place and la bufadora all on a bus with a group of people.  We thought how perfect!! So us and about 20 others loaded a bus to the main bus station to buy the tickets for the package.  When we got there it looked like a very dirty out door night club with a nasty pool and rap music blaring oh and about 5 men selling fake jewelry and a couple women trying to braid our hair.  It was weird!! Anyways we bought our package deal and was told to have a margarita and wait.  Well we didn't have the drink but we sat down and waited....and waited and waited some more.  They told us 10 minutes and we waited for over 30 by the time we got up and asked what was going on?!? Other buses were leaving but not ours.  I guess we were the only ones that signed up for the zip lining and in order for them to go they need a minimum of 8 people.  So we waited and waited some more but no luck no one was signing up for our tour.  People were signing up for just the la bufadora.  Well after an hour we gave up and got our money back and just did the la bufadora.  I was super disappointed but glad to be doing something other than sitting on a nasty seat wondering what went on at that night club the night before.  We boarded the bus with a group of others and headed to la bufadora.  Of course they say it's a 20 minute bus ride but turns into over an hour.

 yay la bufadora......
It is interesting and as sad as I was to miss zip lining I was happy that we were safe and maybe this was a better adventure for our small family.

Then it was time to shop around.  We only had an hour so it was quick.  We got some very yummy churros (Carter was in heaven!)
The kids got their names written on rice....

and we had probably the best tacos ever....

The shopping was fun but stressful.  The people were very pushy and begged a lot.  The kids thought it was cool that the price was always changing.  Mexico was fun and it felt so cool getting to take the kids out of country for a day.
Once back on the ship they had a build a bear workshop for the kids.  We let the kids pick out a bear for a fun way to remember their vacation...

 What a fun souvenir!
After we built our bears we headed out for some water slide fun...

I went down it too but that picture is on Spencer's phone.  We all had a lot of fun!

That night we had a nice dinner and then went to the last show.  We had amazing seats!

The kids had another fun night at camp ocean!
We were sad it was our last night but excited for our vacation to keep going! Cruising was so much fun with the kids and we already want to plan another one very soon! Up next Disneyland Vacation!
