First week of December

Tuesday December 4th Aubrey's science fair project was due....
We have been working on it since Thanksgiving break.  Aubrey thought it would be fun to see what fruits would mold first so she decided on 6 different fruits strawberry, orange, banana, apple, blue berry and grapes and we observed them for 2 weeks.  It was a fun project.  Her and I loved working on the poster board.  It came out super cool and she was really proud of it!

That night Aubrey had a young women/activity day girls Christmas party.
Frosty was already up to some crazy stuff around our house...
The elf's at school were busy too...
 Lunch date with my guy!
I helped Mrs. Carter with Carter's 3rd grade Christmas play so I was at the school pretty much 3-4 days a week helping.
Fun rainy puddle jumping walk...
 Working on our Christmas cards...

Thursday December 6th is the day the Elf fills your shoes if you leave them out so the kids were excited to see what they got

That night was my annual Ornament party.  It was a good turn out about 15 ladies.  Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures while the event was going on but I did a couple pre ones..

First weekend in December

Well technically the the last day of November and the first weekend in December.
Friday November 30th the kids and I went to Hobby Lobby and they picked out their ornaments...
That night we had our annual couples white elephant party.  We decided to make it a couples date night at Strings and then hosted the dessert and party at our house after.
We had such a fun group!! Both sets of Callisters, Chu's, Harrison's, Chamber's, Smith's and us.
We did the fun package game...
 ate dessert...
 a couple Christmas trivia games...

 and the white elephant exchange.....
It was a blast! Lots of laughs and fun!!
Saturday December 1st I took the kids to a little craft fair in town and then we went home and waited for our guest!
We were so excited to have Davey, Kiana, and Roman visit us from Utah for the weekend.
Saturday afternoon we hung out and did crafts and then went out to dinner and to Roman's first movie, the Grinch.
Sunday morning we woke up early to make monkey bread before church..

Then we went to church and came home and a relaxing afternoon playing with Roman, games, family walk and of course some video game time...

Spencer made us a really nice tri tip dinner that night..
Monday 12/3 we kept the kids home from school to go a day trip down to the Fresno zoo.

We had a great time at the zoo and then we went to Cheese Cake Factory for dinner and to the mall.
Tuesday they left.  We had a nice visit with them and can't wait to see them again hopefully soon.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We had all the trees up before Thanksgiving so that when we came home from our Thanksgiving weekend away we could go straight to decorating.
I just love this family picture....
Even Deuce and Millie are looking!
We had a wonderful time decorating as a family..

Last year the kids were so cute and made ornaments for each other so this year Aubrey asked if we could make it a tradition! How cute is that?!? So they each designed and bought all the supplies to make each other a special ornament.

They are just too cute!!!
Can't wait for a fun 2018 Christmas season!
