Memorial Day weekend Trip

For Memorial Day weekend we decided to take a little get away to Gilroy.  We have our annual passes to Gilroy Gardens and were in need of some outlet shopping so we made a weekend of it!  The kids looked so darn cute with their suitcases.  

 We spent all day Saturday at Gilroy Gardens.

We rode lots of rides, eat lots of food and shopped tell we dropped what a great weekend!

Car Show

I stumbled upon a neat hidden jewel here in Merced, The Vista Ranch and Cellars.  It is beautiful! They have different family friendly events all summer long.  The Thursday before Memorial day weekend was a tri-tip/pizza dinner and car show.  Our great friends the Mackins came with us and we had a night filled with lots of fun.

Carter's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Carter's 2nd Birthday party on Saturday May 12th.  Carter's favorite cartoon is Cat in the Hat he calls it "go go" because in the theme song they sing, "go go go on an adventure." He has loved this cartoon for a very long time so having a Cat in the Hat themed birthday party was a must!  Carter was very excited and I had a blast planning it!! I found lots of great ideas on-line and added some ideas of my own here and there.  We had an awesome turn out 22 kids and 23 adults.  The food turned out really good. It was a very hot day in the 90's but that didn't stop all the kids from having fun.  They jumped, ate a lot, played games, watched a juggling show, gifts, cupcakes and a piñata it was a blast!!
