Disneyland Magic Morning/World of Color (Day 4)

Wednesday morning we used our magic morning pass and got to go into Disneyland 1 hour early. It was a amazing we got to ride every ride in Fantasy Land with NO lines and a few in Tomorrow Land. Daddy also got to get a fast pass for the new and improved 3D Star Tours and only had to wait like 5 minutes. (Others waited over 6 hours the day before!) It was a perfect morning we all had a blast.

Both kids loved the Finding Nemo ride.

Aubrey's second favorite ride was the Winnie the Pooh ride. (We went on it 5 times!)

Aubrey was so brave! Monday night she not only did Pirates of the Caribbean she also did the Haunted Mansion. She really surprised us when she wanted to ride Splash Mountain! Her and daddy went and she loved it. She called it a big slide. I tried to get a picture of them and I took it to soon so you can't see Spencer but you can see Aubrey's green shirt.

Then onto the princess show were we learned how to be a princess and even got to dance with Cinderella.

We met a few Characters on our way out of Disneyland.

Wednesday night we had dinner reservations in California Adventure at Wine Country Trattoria to get premier seating for the World of Color show. It was a very nice dinner.

After dinner we rode the new Little Mermaid ride. It was fabulous! We all loved it, one of our new favorites!

After that we headed over to our viewing section and watched the new World of Color show. It too was fabulous. We had a great spot and enjoyed the show very much.


It was a great day!

Califorina Adventure (Day 3)

Wednesday morning we went to California Adventure Land for our Princess Breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. Aubrey was thrilled to be dressed like a princess that day.

The breakfast was very yummy.

All the princess's were beautiful. Aubrey got to have one on one time with all 5 that morning.

Aubrey was very excited to "match" Snow White!

After breakfast we headed out to the park. Aubrey got to stop and meet a couple of her other favorites......

and even Jessie came by right before we left.

Then we played some games.

We saw the amazing Aladdin show. It was GREAT!

We played in the Bugs Life Land for a while.

and then back to the hotel for some family swim time.

Disneyland (Day 2)

Monday morning we woke up bright and early and headed over for our first day in Disneyland.

Right when we walked into Disneyland we bought an autograph book for Aubrey. She was thrilled to meet all her favorite characters and get a picture with them. Our first stop was Pixie Hallow to meet Tinkerbell.

Then onto the Princess Faire were we got to meet three princess.

Toon Town

After our awesome day in Disneyland we went back to the hotel for naps and swimming. Before going back to the park that night we had dinner at Red Robins.

What a great 1st day!

Disneyland Family Vacation (Day 1)

We just got home last night from our week long family vacation to Disneyland! We had a WONDERFUL trip. Everything was great and we all had the time of our lives. I will warn anyone who looks at our blog that there are going to be lots of pictures. Saturday night before we left Micky and Minnie called Aubrey to tell her how excited they were to see her, which was very neat. We left early Sunday morning. We have been counting down the days for our vacation since April. Aubrey loves to cross off the days and when it got to our last cross it was very exciting.

We bought the kids some Disney things for the car trip to keep them busy.

All ready to go......

The drive went good. Carter slept all the way to Bakersfield where we stopped for lunch and to stretch our legs. The last part of the drive went good too. The kids just watched movies.
Our hotel was beautiful!!!! We stayed at the Hyatt and had a perfect two bedroom suite for our family.

When we got to the hotel we relaxed and Spencer and Aubrey went swimming.

We had a good night taking it easy getting ready for the fun week ahead.

In Memory of Charlie

Our very special family dog Charlie passed away on Friday. He will be greatly missed. Charlie was a wonderful dog that brought smiles to our whole family. Some of my favorite memories of Charlie are just snuggling on the floor with him. I also have some wonderful memories of him on all our family vacations. He loved looking for pine cones and bringing them to us to play fetch. Charlie had a wonderful spirit about him and though dogs don't normally smile it looked as if he was always smiling. I loved growing up with Charlie he would love to cuddle on my bed back when I lived at home. After I moved out he would always get very excited when I came back to visit. He was an all around very happy playful dog. It was wonderful being able to share him with my kids. Aubrey loved to climb on Charlie and try to ride him like a horse. Every time we would go to Nana and Papa's Aubrey gets so excited to see Charlie and Bailey and play with them. In our night time songs we sing about our family she always reminds me to add Charlie to it. Charlie loved to kiss everyone and would kiss both Aubrey and Carter like crazy. He was such a special dog and holds a big part in all of our hearts. We will always remember him and love him always.
