Labor Day Weekend

Three day weekends are the best! I love having Spencer home! This year we decided to stay home and just relax and it was wonderful. Also the weather was very nice, in the 80's so we spent most of our time outside.

Monday we went to the park.

and out to dinner to Big Bubba's Bad BBQ. Aubrey is to small too go on the bull ride but she was able to go on the pig for a picture.

One of the reason's I haven't blogged in so long was because I was getting ready for my first craft fair. All of Aubrey's nap times went to doing crafts so I was very busy. My friend and I got a booth together and we had a great day. I sold a few things and I got my business card out there.

It's been awhile

It sure has been awhile since I have posted any new pictures. We have been keeping busy and enjoying the last few weeks of summer. We can't wait for fall and all the fun holidays ahead. We are also so so so ready for the cooler weather.

A few weeks back we took Aubrey to John's Incredible Pizza. She had a blast!!! She now loves going on rides. She loves to wave as she passes people.

Fresno Zoo

Last week my mom and sister came out for a couple of days. On Thursday we went to the Fresno Zoo. It was so much fun and Aubrey was way into it.

They have an AWESOME giraffe exhibit. You get to get up close to the giraffes and feed them. We let Aubrey do it and she loved it.

It was a great day and a wonderful girl's week.

First Day of Nursery

A couple weekends ago Aubrey had her first day of nursery at our church. She did great we thought she might be a little nervous and that she would like one of us to stay with her but the minute she saw the toys and her friend Everett she was off. The teacher said she did very well. She got to bring home a project that she did.

On the Saturday of that same weekend we went to the Multi Cultural Center in our town and saw a fabulous Native American presentation Aubrey was mesmerized by all the dancing and music.

After that we went to lunch. Aubrey really enjoys coloring.

Children's Discovery Museum

The weekend that Spencer and I went away for our anniversary Aubrey went to her Nana's and G'Pa's for the weekend. On Saturday they went to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Here are some fun pictures of there weekend.

After the museum they all went and visited with Great-Grandpa Merv and Joan. Aubrey even got to play the piano with Joan and Nana.

Aubrey's 18 month pictures

I took Aubrey to get her 18 month pictures done earlier this week. It sure was hard to keep an 18 month old from running out of the studio but well worth it in the end. We are very happy with how they turned out.

Aubrey is 18 months today!!!!

Aubrey had her 18 month doctors appointment yesterday and is doing great. I had an appointment to go get her 18 month pictures done tomorrow but this morning while outside she fell and hit her forehead. She is fine just has a bump right in the middle of her eyebrows. So when you look at her picture that's why it is so big we re-scheduled for next week.

She is starting to copy everything we do and say. Tonight when I was saying good night to her I left the room saying "I love you" and it sounded like she said it back and waved it was very cute.

Aubrey's favorite toys right now are Fisher Price Little People she has over 50 of them and just loves to carry them everywhere and sort them in groups. She also loves my swiffer duster. When ever I'm dusting she has to help.

This evening we went to Summer Fest on Main Street.
