Father's Day 2009

We had a nice Father's day weekend. We worked around the house and in the backyard. Our Backyard and patio area are really coming together. We got a new patio furniture set that looks great and we have been enjoying meals out there.

I have been really enjoying making things so for Father's day I went with a BBQ theme and made homemade BBQ sauce and aprons. Aubrey helped me make a hand print platter for her dad.

We meet up with my family in Modesto for dinner at Red Lobster. It is always so fun to see everyone.

Guy Fishing Trip

Here are some pictures from the guys fishing trip that they went on a couple of weekends ago. They went to Willits, Ca and stayed in a very nice cabin.

The San Francisco Zoo

On Saturday my parents took Laura, Scott, Aubrey and I to the San Francisco Zoo. The Zoo is so beautiful and had a lots of new things to look at since the last time I was there. We had so much fun all being together and Aubrey really enjoyed looking at all the animals. Aubrey also enjoyed holding every one's hands and riding on Grandpa's shoulders .

Fishing/Shopping/Gymboree

This last weekend Spencer went on his annual fishing trip with his dad, brothers, and nephews. They all had a great trip.

We are waiting on more fishing pictures from Spencer's brother so once we get them I will post more.

While Spencer was fishing Aubrey, Deuce and I went to stay at my parents for the weekend. On Friday my mom, sister, Aubrey and I went shopping and out to lunch.

We also went to the Gymboree that day, Aubrey had a blast.

We finished the fun day with a yummy dinner at El Toritos on the bay with the whole family.

Swim Lessons

We enrolled Aubrey (and us) in a parent and me swim class for two weeks. Last summer Aubrey loved the water, this summer she is not to sure. The class is wonderful. There are 7 other toddlers in the class and Spencer and I get to take turns swimming with her. We have a pool in our backyard so we are hoping this class will get her use to the water.

The Aunts Came to Visit

This last Friday Aunt Pat and Aunt Laura came over and stayed for the whole weekend . We had a great time hanging together and doing fun things.

We went to Merced's little fairyland and it was so cute. Aubrey wasn't to sure about some of the rides but she did love the train.

16 Months

Aubrey is now 16 months and is full of life. She makes us smile all the time and we have so much fun experiencing new things with her every day.
At 16 months Aubrey.....
-Dances to every tune
-Sings along to songs
-Says dada, mama, Deuce, Deucie, Deucie Guy,
bye-bye, baba, tickle-tickle, whats that?
-Runs around
-helps dress herself
-Waves
-Has 10 teeth
-Climbs on everything
-Keeps mommy and daddy very busy
-Is so perfect in every way and we love her so much!
